How quickly do I need to accept my booking?

If you have an appointment pending, you must respond within the following time limits based on how far in the future the appointment is scheduled.

If you do not accept calendar bookings (where the client does not choose the time) there is a 7 day period for you to accept.

If you do accept calendar bookings, the following response times apply:


Appointment Scheduled:

Less than 6 hours from now

  • You must respond by: The appointment time
  • Auto-cancellation: At the time of the appointment (if no response)

6-12 hours from now

  • You must respond by: At least 2 hours before the appointment
  • Auto-cancellation: 2 hours before the appointment starts

12-24 hours from now

  • You must respond by: At least 6 hours before the appointment
  • Auto-cancellation: 6 hours before the appointment starts

24-48 hours from now

  • You must respond by: At least 12 hours before the appointment
  • Auto-cancellation: 12 hours before the appointment starts

48-72 hours from now

  • You must respond by: At least 36 hours before the appointment
  • Auto-cancellation: 36 hours before the appointment starts

More than 72 hours from now

  • You must respond by: Within 48 hours from now
  • Auto-cancellation: 48 hours from the current time


If you do not respond within these time frames, your client will receive a message saying that the booking was automatically cancelled due to non response.
