If an EAP/funded client has depleted their session entitlement, you can apply for extra sessions on their behalf, please note that granting session extensions is at the discretion of HR and may not always be granted.
Please also note that not all clients allow session extensions.
All you have to do is the following:
1. Login to your portal and click on create appointment.

2. Enter your clients name, and select them from the dropdown, if they are eligible for an extension then
there will be a link that shows on the funding option similar to the below:
If you can't see the session extension button this may be because the client's organisation does not allow session extensions. However, if you can't see the link and believe you urgently need to request an extension, you can fill out the below form for their HR's consideration:
Any identifiable information about the client will be kept confidential from the workplace/organisation, and what we have found is the more context you can provide, the more likely workplaces/organisations are to approve these extra sessions.
Once you have completed the form, Clearhead will contact the client's workplace/organisation and come back to you with the outcome.
Please note that to best manage the client's expectation about the session extension request, we highly recommend that you do not specify the number of sessions you have requested and only inform them of the number of sessions approved.
This decision ultimately lies with their workplace/organisation and can take up to five working days.
Please do not proceed with any extra sessions until you hear back from Clearhead, as we cannot guarantee the funding of unapproved sessions.
