What are the different Referral / Client Types?
There are two types of referrals at Clearhead: EAP (funded) & Public referrals (self-funded)
It's important to know how to distinguish between them.
At Clearhead, we don't manually allocate referrals to you! Instead, clients book with you directly through your profile and you'll receive an email notification whenever this happens.
EAP Referrals
These are therapy bookings, being made by people whose workplace, organisation or institute are partnered with us.
Note! They'll be marked as EAP referral in your Provider Portal.
Public Referrals (self-funded)
These are general members of the public, who are booking with you privately through your profile. Public payments are done via your Provider profile link or manually booking via your Provider Profile.
Note! These bookings will be marked as Public referral on your Provider Portal.
If I'm registered with Clearhead, can I register with other EAP providers?
Yes! You can register with any other EAP providers and still work with Clearhead
How much does it cost to sign up to become a therapist with Clearhead?
Nothing! It's totally free to join Clearhead's therapist network.
Can multiple practitioners sign up from the same clinic or workplace?
Yes! Each practitioner just needs to sign up with their own email address and create individual profiles for users to choose from.
If you like, you can set up profiles so email referrals go to one central inbox. That means a practice manager or receptionist can still manage bookings. Or, the practitioner can take booking requests on their own email. The choice is yours.

What are the expectations if I sign up to Clearhead?
You can dedicate as much, or as little, time to Clearhead clients as you choose. There are no expectations in this regard.
Our only expectations are:
You endeavour to respond to Clearhead appointment requests within 48 hours (ideally 24 hours).
You ensure your availability is up to date and clear for users to see on the Clearhead platform. For example, if you're not able to accept new clients, your profile should make this clear.
You can choose to leave Clearhead at any time. Just email therapist-support@myclearhead.com and we will delete your profile on your behalf.
